Up for grabs is a solid 1977 pressing of Smash Hits — the perfect gateway to Jimi’s electric universe or a must-have for the seasoned Hendrix listener. This thing’s packed with the essentials: “Purple Haze,” “Hey Joe,” “The Wind Cries Mary,” and more. Just a wall-to-wall stack of fire from the man himself.

The cover’s VG+, with a little wear on the edges — nothing too serious, just honest shelf life. The vinyl’s also VG+ — it’s clean, with a few light blemishes, but plays just fine all the way through. I gave it a fresh cleaning, gave it a spin (okay, maybe two), and it sounds just like it should: full of life, fuzz, and that unmistakable Hendrix heat.
